Biography

Hey fam! My name is Michael Nero and welcome to my website!

I am a(n) Actor/Singer currently residing in New York City. My story begins in Louisiana. As a New Orleans native, where art dwells in every corner, I carry a piece of that enchantment within me. I consider myself an Actor and storyteller through Music - bringing joy to the stage, singing and dancing through time with grace. 

Proud graduate of Kennesaw State University; receiving a Bachelor of the Arts in Theatre and Performance Studies and minoring in Music Theatre and African American Diaspora Studies. My professional experience began in Atlanta, GA – where I began working at Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company, where I served as a Teaching Artist. I worked alongside educators for the Annual August Wilson Monologue Competition; a competition that I have participated in during high school. I continued to work within the amazing Atlanta regional theatre industry including the Alliance and Aurora Theatre.

From the dazzling rhythms of AFTER MIDNIGHT, to the soul-stirring legacy of BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL, and even the timeless tale of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, I've weaved my vibrant energy into each character's tapestry. #ActorLife #DreamWeaver #StageMagic #PassionUnleashed
